I love playing tennis but I don’t love digging through my tennis bag trying to find things! I’m one of those people who carry a lot of things in my tennis bag. Partly because I like to be prepared and partly out of necessity. As a Type 1 Diabetic, I must have certain things on hand at all times. Plus, as a fair skinned gal, I can’t take the sun like I could (but shouldn’t have!) when I was younger so I will not play without sunscreen. Actually, I won’t leave the house without putting on sunscreen! Then, there are the hairbands, snacks, dri-grip, over grips, band-aids, sunglasses, Biofreeze, Ibuprofen . . . you know the drill. There’s a LOT of stuff in a tennis bag!

I’ve tried organizing my bag lots of different ways but ultimately wasted time digging through my bag because everything was always at the bottom and in cute zippered bags (that I had to open to know what was inside).
I’ve finally solved the problem and hope this will help you as well! For me, I have decided that ultimately if I can SEE things, I can FIND things!
So, a friend showed me at trick that has been life changing. Okay, that’s a bit dramatic but it has been “bag changing”!
So you know how after a match you have that fabulous ball container that often gets tossed out when the balls go flat? SAVE IT! It’s the BEST way to organize! You can cut or tear off the plastic wrap and voila – you are left with a SEE-THROUGH storage container that STANDS UP in your bag!! If you have a light colored lid, you can even write the category on the top (FIRST AID, HAIR, SUGAR, MISCELLANEOUS, etc) but, regardless, it’s see-through so you can quickly see if what you need is in the can!!
I hope this tip helps you! It’s really been a time (and sanity) saver for me!
